Fast and powerful, this is the switchblade of powder boards, and it will slash the backcountry like no other. While many great powder boards are large and surfy, the Kazu Kokubo Pro comes in a compact chassis with a powder nose and a slightly tapered tail, making this award-winning series quick and maneuverable. This versatility is perfect for those side-country powder mornings when things get tracked, and you end up back inside the resort boundaries for the remainder of the day.
It unleashes maximum power through a Panda Core™ with Bamboo Power Rods and is loaded with high-end construction components like a Skinless™ Core Ash woodgrain topsheet, HyperDrive™ high-speed sintered base, and now features the proprietary Moonshot Pro Tune™ straight from The Mothership's space-age grinding line. While it's a lofty goal, this board is your first step towards trying to emulate Kazu's legendary riding style.
The ALPINE V2 Profile features lower-body camber with a reverse cambered nose. This allows for maximum turning power while increasing float and landing stability. The camber runs deep into the tail on the Kazu providing enhanced performance for this freestyle powder series. The Kazu Kokubo Pro and Supernova uses traditional tip and tail arcs.
Super lightweight Certified Core aligned with bamboo power rods.
Specially treated pure wood veneer topsheet with a unique tactile feel that is 220 gm lighter than the standard process.
Grid woven tech tape featuring the response of carbon with the dampness of flax.
Triax/Biax HOLYSHEET™ has higher glass to weight ratio than normal fiberglass.
Impregnated with high performance plant based MAGIC BEAN™ RESIN for the most powerful and dynamic ride.
Exclusively formulated, sintered, ultra-high molecular weight, ultra-high density polyethylene, custom engineered with special additives. Rated for the most depraved speed junkies ONLY.
Aftermarket performance stone grind structure straight from The Mothership.

Hot damn dude… this one is spicy. Before this board I was on the old 2013 Charlie Slasher. Big Ol’ pow brudda at 161 as a 185lbs high schooler. Now as I’ve begun my journey as an absolute UNIT at 220ish (no gains) I decided to size down to 157 for that R E S P O N S E. In short, this thing cuts hard. Gnarly fast, gnarly agile, gnarly powerful, and probably the most aggressive ride I’ve ever had. ****** for sure but I love it, makes for a really stable and reliable board that’ll bite back if you don’t treat it right. Super happy with the purchase, it absolutely bounds down the hill and I’m proud to be soul ridin’ this absolute cutter. Thanks guys!
What an absolute pleasure to ride. It's light, stiff, and hyper responsive. The moment you initiate a turn, the board is like "WE TURNING?! OH **** YEAH LET'S GOOO!!" That being said, it isn't for beginners since it'll punish as quickly as it rewards. It has crazy pop if you put in the effort to load it up. When you do, it'll send you flying. The first time I popped off roller it sent me to the shadow realm. Good thing the board is so stable as I learned when I finally came back down to Earth. I can't say enough good things about this board. Light, stable, responsive, beautiful, fast, cooks a fine steak, you name it. My last board was the Ultrafear which is also great but didn't like going 50mph. This board is at home flying down the mountain.. Sounds cool, too, on account of the bamboo. I ride the northeast so I'm looking forward to see it in powder (someday) but my description is based on experience in hard-pack mostly, ice, and slush. 360 nose rolls all day off that big, poppy nose, son. Any rider that wants to go fast and go flying will love this board. Thank you, Capita. Keep doing what you're doing. We love you.
This board is incredible. Super quick from edge to edge, cuts the sharpest turns of anything I've been on and It. Is. Fast! Just wrapped up 5 days on the slopes that spanned every condition imaginable and this board handled it all like a champ...destroyed groomers, was unstoppable in the late afternoon chop, cut through ice, and soooo nimble in powder. Absolutely love it! And the graphics are pretty sick too. Get this board.
I have the 51, I'm 5'5 and about 115 lbs. This is the second year I've ridden (yes, I know this is a pro board and not at all for beginners) . People said I wouldn't have a chance on this board, how wrong they were. It's a fantastic board, at first I had a bit of trouble turning getting used to the camber profile but it's perfect. I would say that it even helped me perfect my turns with such little space for error. It's stable, fast, and so much fun. Super easy to maneuver and is quick to turn. And of course the graphic is amazing, its bright and crisp. It's good on ice, groomers, even doing a few jumps, sadly I haven't had a chance to test it in real powder but I can already tell it would be fantastic. I haven't owned any other board and I don't think I ever will, this board is just that amazing.
