With a soulful trip to the early days of snowboarding, CAPiTA and Spring Break present a line of hand-made Ultralight Powder Displacement Snowcraft. Conceptualized by Corey Smith and designed by CAPiTA, this series embodies the heart of Corey's garage built, oversized, plywood decks—but have been created using the technology available in the best factory in the world. A buoyant, ultra-lightweight Surflite 3.0 Core™ combined with a Surf Rocker camber profile and broad-shouldered shapes all work together to create zero-gravity floatation on top of even the deepest pow.
Packed with new technology for 2021 like the Carbon Fleece Power Shield™, Waterjet Cut Sidewalls, and custom formulated Holysheet™ fiberglass for wider frames—we have managed to increase durability while maximizing performance in these oversized and lightweight frames. Featuring an all-new Powder Pill 158, there is no doubt that these Spring Break Ultralight Powder Displacement Snowcraft will take you one step closer in the search for the perfect wave.
The SURF ROCKER features a continuous arching tip and tail inspired by the modern design of many of today’s best surfboards—flat through the inserts with smooth arcing tip and tails. The gentle low angle allows for maximum float and control.
Replacing balsa with ultra wide zones of flyweight Paulownia, and premium Poplar, we’ve managed to maintain the ultralight weight of the SURFLITE core while dramatically increasing its strength and durability.
For increased power transfer underfoot while snapping pow turns while maintaining vibrations to keep a surfy feel.
Biax/Biax HOLYSHEET™ has higher glass to weight ratio than normal fiberglass.
Impregnated with high performance plant based for the most powerful and dynamic ride.
Dynamic and durable, easy to maintain and reliable, this base material is electric through the trees and fast over the flats. Exclusively formulated for the wide chassis of the Spring Break powder division these bases were made with the powder lifestyle in mind.
Waterjet cutting produces a stronger ABS sidewall as the ABS is milled to design specification rather than bent into its final shape. The process also produces zero heat thus the material’s chemical structure remains intact.
Specially treated pure wood veneer topsheet with a unique tactile feel that is 220gm lighter than the standard process.

The snow gods bestowed some of the lightest fairy dust powder on the Pacific Northwest and the Spring Break Pintail rose to the occasion. The nose of the board naturally floats to the top of the surface in deep powder. No binding setback required. The board will take you in any direction you steer with little to no effort. Very light feel under foot in all conditions. If you want the ultimate sensation of floating while surfing snow, look no further. The Spring Break lineup is the real deal. I weigh 190lbs, so I chose to go with the longest board in the lineup.
You can‚Äôt know until you know. Ride it and the rest of your days will be spent chasing powder. It‚Äôs a unreal ride, in a good way üòÉ
You can’t go wrong with any of the Spring Break quiver. These boards saved snowboarding and they will save you. They are the best shapes and most decadent boards to ride in pow and are surprisingly fun on groomers too. I get comments on my Spring Breaks all of the time and feel sorry for everyone I see on a pow day without one. Get one, you won’t be sorry.
These boards look so good that I never wanted to ride them and hang the up on wall...The graphic design, shapes, and finishing quality makes these pieces of art! The unique core plus the carbon plates make this board super light, but playful and powerful in the pow. Always stoked on the lift ride with light board on those big days. I mostly ride the 161 witch was a replace to the Charlie Slasher, but the 151(when I can steal it from the wife) and 154 are super fun in the trees at Stevens Pass. They all float amazing, so that you don’t need to set back more then recommended. Nice for the smaller sizes so you have a tail to land on. They all hit and land natural jumps and drop cliff well, with the tapered tails and bigger nose. They preform best in the pow, but will turn great on the groomers. Only negative might have found is the attention you get in the lift line. Get one you will not regret it!

Over the past year, the EETT™ development team at MARS1 has been working to connect you to your board beyond the standard boot/binding interface.
By embedding a super-intelligent Near Field Communication (NFC) chip into the nose of your board, you can now connect your phone to your board for seamless product information, snowboard registration, warranty processing and more.
CAPiTA Snowboards once again leads the industry in next level future tech.
